Welcome! My name is Bethany Teague, and Iām a storyteller based in Nashville, Tennessee.
I have worked as a director, writer, cinematographer and editor since 2012. I got my start both behind and in front of the camera as a television news reporter and anchor for local stations in North Carolina, West Virginia and Virginia. My work in these regions earned me Edward R. Murrow and Associated Press awards, as well as an Emmy nomination.
I stepped away from television news in 2017 to produce, direct and edit award-winning documentary films for nonprofits, universities and companies all over the world in both staff and freelance capacities.
I got my undergraduate degree in communications from the University of North Carolina Asheville, where I also played soccer. Go Bulldogs!
My mission is to use creative storytelling to be a voice for those who need it. I love connecting with people through the art of listening. I look forward to hearing from you!
